Amendment C66 finalised
In March 2014 Victoria’s Planning Minister accepted the Independent Panel’s recommendations on Amendment C66.
The State Government agreed with the Planning Panels Victoria recommendation to retain the Torquay settlement boundary at 1km west of Duffields Road, and rezone the land within that boundary to give certainty.
We welcome the Minister’s decision to accept the recommendations of the Independent Panel and rezone the Torquay Green land for housing.
We look forward to working with Council and other stakeholders to commence the precinct structure planning process as soon as possible.
Torquay Green is planned to be a spacious, sustainable community that will complement the local environment.
As part of the development, landowners plan to restore the degraded Spring Creek to its former glory for residents and visitors, flora and fauna to enjoy.
We look forward to updating this website as the planning process advances.
